When Kate originally contacted me about her wedding at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley in Ticonderoga, and told me she didn’t plan on getting ready at the barn I was a bit surprised. It was after chatting more and learning her family has a home on Lake George, that she has spent countless hours at during her childhood that it made sense. She decided that she would spend her morning surrounded by her closest friends, in a spot that held such meaning to her.

I just love when client’s chose to use a space that has meaning to them on their wedding day. The property did not disappoint and we were able to have our first look right next to the water overlooking beautiful Lake George. The weather was perfect for a summer wedding, we had a beautiful sunset, and I was treated so some incredible dance moves (later finding out Kate majored in Dance in college)
