Laura & Aaron were my only couple for 2020 that proceeded with their original wedding date. They weighed their options and the prospects for 2021, and decided to continue forward with a smaller wedding than originally planned. A few months before their date, their venue made the incredible difficult decision to cancel all their 2020 events, including weddings.
With only a few months to pivot, they were not only able to find a secondary location for their ceremony on the shores of Lake George, they also secured the fantastic Hiland Country Club in Queensbury for a beautiful reception. These two showed such strength and poise pivoting and still had a day to remember.
Their families were incredibly supported as well helping in not only the planning but also Laura’s sisters and mother doing all the floral arrangements and bouquets ( there were GORGEOUS! ). Her father also created a custom arbor that framed their ceremony.
It was definitely a wedding to remember from a year I will never forget.
